State-of-the-art common rail injection systems

ODYSSEUS Common Rail Systems include all components for injection and for generating pressure, thereby guaranteeing optimum connectivity and compatibility. Together with the EFI control units, the very precise hydro-mechanical components represent a holistic solution for state-of-the-art common rail injection technology. The ODYSSEUS range covers engine ratings from 150 to 10,000 kW and more.
Electronically controlled E-PPN (Electronic Pump Pipe Nozzle) system

LAVINIA, the electronically controlled E-PPN system, has been designed as an extension for existing mechanical injection systems. It centres around a magnetically actuated control valve that is integrated into the high-pressure fuel line in diesel engines. Fuel injection timing and quantity are precisely determined. Thanks to its modular design, it can be easily combined with existing high-pressure pumps and injectors from a wide range of manufacturers.
Controls

HEINZMANN governors are employed in the propulsion engines of most marine engine manufacturers worldwide. Available for both mechanical and electronic fuel injection, these controllers handle outputs of up to several thousands of kilowatts and cover all speed ranges. The state-of-the-art Oil Mist Monitoring Systems from HEINZMANN have been specially developed to meet the needs of large combustion engines, such as those used in ships or power plants. It protects operating personnel and helps to prevent serious damage to the engine in good time. The impressive systems do not have any moving parts, and their electrical connection is simple to establish. Maintenance work and costs are minimised.
